COVID 19 Update as of 8/9/2021

If your previous appointment was canceled due to COVID 19, we have contacted each person since we have reopened so please give us a call back so we can reschedule you!

Masks are still required whether you are vaccinated or unvaccinated.  

**Please be assured our office has always upheld the highest of standards of cleanliness and followed all disinfection and sterilization techniques put forth by the CDA and CDC.  We have made any necessary changes to help keep you safe! 

For the protection of all our patients and staff due the recent outbreak of coronavirus, we are requesting the following:

• If you have an illness or are exhibiting symptoms, we recommend you cancel and reschedule your dental appointment. Some illness and symptoms include:
  • a cold or the flu
  • fever or nausea
  • severe headaches or body aches
  • muscle or stomach pain, chest pain or difficulty breathing
  • vomiting or diarrhea
  • active tuberculosis (TB)
  • mumps, measles, chickenpox
  • other contagious disease
• Please notify our staff before your appointment if you or someone you are in close contact with have recently traveled to one of the countries with large outbreaks of COVID-19 (ex. China, Italy, Iran, South Korea) or if you have been exposed to someone else who was diagnosed with COVID-19.

If you are healthy, there’s no need to cancel your regularly scheduled dental appointment.

1. Jade Purifier

a. How it works:

     i.   Air is drawn through the bottom of the unit passing through the HEPA-Rx Filter, Activated Carbon Filter and Germicidal UV-C+ Photocatalytic Nano-TiO2 chamber.  This releases revitalizing negative ions into the air to refresh the air.

     ii.   We keep them on auto and the unit goes into Turbo mode when needed.

b.  Total of 6 Jades in the office.  1 in each operatory and 1 at the front office.  These units are large enough to clean the air in each room every 2-5 minutes.

2. Covid Screening Prior To Entry (Updated 8/9/2021):

a.   Masks are required whether you are vaccinated or unvaccinated.

b.   Temperatures are taken at the front desk and can’t be over 100F.

c.   Hand sanitizer is offered at front counter & multiple places throughout the office.

3. New Inside Look:

a.   Front waiting room no longer has magazines to browse while waiting.

b.   Our patient coffee room is offered on request vs self-serve.

c.   The whole staff is required to be screened before starting work each day.

d.   Front office staff are required to wear masks.

e.    Back office staff is required to wear a mask and lab coat buttoned up throughout the day.

f.   Hepa filters with UV lights are installed in our existing heating/air conditioning system, as well as Jade units (explained above).

g.   Protocol in our operatories have not had to change much as we have always followed the CDC and ADA guidelines of sterilization.  But please know that all operatories are broken down after each patient, all surfaces wiped down and sit for 10 minutes and then wiped down again.  New plastic barriers are then placed in the room to be ready for the next patient.
